IPad 2 claimed battery life of up to 10 hours, the same as
its predecessor. But over time, the capacity of batteries made of lithium
polymer will be reduced. To minimize the loss of battery capacity iPad before
its time, here are some suggestions for caring for your iPad battery:
-Remove the wrapping your iPad while charging, including the
protector (if any). If you charge the
battery with the wrapper still attached, this will cause excessive heat,
which affects the capacity of the battery.
-Charge the battery when it's completely empty (0%)
-Keep your iPad in a fairly cool and not exposed to
sunlight.
-Make sure you recharge the battery died shortly after.
-Adjust the screen brightness. The default value is 40%. To
set it up, go to Settings> Brightness & Wallpaper
-Turn off iPad when not in use.
-Use Airplane mode. With this menu, the iPad will not
constantly trying to find an internet connection that will drain the battery.
-Turn off the notification. If you feel you do not need to
be notified every time there are new comments from your Facebook, mention you
are new to twitter, etc., Then you can turn off this feature by going to the
menu Settings> Notification and select OFF.
-Disable Location Services service. This menu can be set in
Settings> General>Location Services
-Turn off Bluetooth when not in use
