The book entitled of "A Handful Pearls of Life" is the collection of stories that might we experience in real life. Many stories that contain moral messages for the reader such as children, adolescent, and old human. In this book, there is a story that I want to retell. This Story tells about a family that is not harmonious, where a father or a husband who often hit his wife. A husband and wife have a son. During his development into adulthood, he always look at his father hit his mother. When he was an adult, he get married and his marriage was so happy until one day everything''s changed. He started to hit his wife like his father. He hit his wife when she was pregnant until she''s dying and eventually passed away. He must deal with the court and finally he has execution. Before he is executed, the court gives him the opportunity to say his last words. He wanted to speak with his father. At that time, he kick his old father. He told that if his father didn''t hit his mother, he didn''t experience such thing happened to him. This story gives a father a moral message, where his bad behavior will become bad inheritance for his children. That''s why, a father must be a good model for his children.
