Personal Experience Review   by:Moevius

Meditation is a very wonderful experience. Some of the known benefits that gives the usual practice of meditation are the managment of stress, helps in the controls of emotions and the most importance, helps in the reconnection with the divine self .
Although is a popular practice, there are plenty of people that don't know how to meditate, thinking that is a difficult practice or that it needs to be done in a temple with an expert far in the woods. Contrary to that idea, the reality of it is that meditation can be easily learned and the benefits of it can be felt almost immediately. Here are some simple steps that can guide you so you may start practicing soon.

First step is to find a place for it. Meditation is a practice that can be done outdoors in nature or in any kind of room. The important thing to considerate about the place is the silence. To be really focused in the experience, the best is a quiet place in that you may be comfortable for the time you want. It can be a park near some tree or it can be at your own place, just keep in consideration the silence, and according to the level of interruptions of course, the less the better and none if it’s possible.

The second step is the body posture. There are many postures in that someone can meditate, you can use lotus posture or semi-lotus posture, but if you're not a yogi you can always sit on a chair or lay down in a carpet or a bed. The essential thing here is the position of the spine; it must be straight and relax. Any position that allows you a straight and comfortable position for the spine is welcome.

The last step is the most important of all, and it is the purpose, your own personal intention. To have a clear intention for your meditation makes it easier to practice, gives you motivation and helps you to focus on that you really want to accomplish. Your intention can be: to feel more relax, or to live more peaceful, to enjoy more, to have abundance in your life, a better health or just to be there feeling the powerful now, it can be anything! The important thing here is to focus in the stuff or feelings you really want instead of that you find troublesome. Focusing on solutions instead of problems changes the attention of your daily life to the things you want for yourself and helps you find it, and to live it.

A last consideration is the time of the practice. Meditation is a practice that needs to be done regularly to have results, in other words, it is better to meditate five minutes every day than half an hour every Sunday. The more frequently you do it, the more it helps in your daily life.

So there are, easy steps for meditation, I hope you may start to practice soon and to live the benefits of it in your own life, and remember always that align yourself with your deeper self, your true nature, will always give you that that you are looking for. Try it yourself!
