Helium.com is a paid to write website where members are paid
in several ways. It can be quite confusing at first when you join Helium
because there are many new terms that you need to learn like writing stars,
rating stars, assignment titles and so on. But Helium has a dedicated Help page
where you can find all the links to the various questions that a new member
might want answers to.
Different ways to earn money at Helium.com
There are basically five ways that a Helium member can earn
from the website. A Helium member can earn from incentive payment, rating,
contests, ad share earnings and stock content.
Incentive payment
Each Helium.com member can go to their dashboard and will
find many assignment titles that will pay between $1 to $3 per article.
However, for each title in the assignment list, only one article will be chosen
to get the incentive payment. The rest of the articles including the one chosen
to receive incentive payment will transit to the website and continue to earn
ad revenue share.
Each article that is published on Helium must be original
and cannot be republished to other website for a period of one year. After one
year, members can republish their articles at other paid to write websites if
they wish to do so.
Not all titles in the assignment list are offered incentive
payment. There are those that will only pay ad revenue share which means that
Helium will share the revenue it gets from advertisers with its members when
their articles are viewed.
Rating
In order to earn from ad revenue share, members of Helium
need to have at least one rating star. Members need to rate articles and those who
manage to get five rating stars at the end of the month will get a $3 bonus. In
order to get five rating stars, members need to have 500 ratings with a score
of 75% and above or 300 ratings with a score of 85%.
Contests
Every Wednesday, Helium will introduce contest titles for
members to write to. The top three winners will receive cash prizes ranging
from $20 to $50. This is one way that Helium members can increase their
earnings at Helium.
Ad Revenue Share
All members at Helium are entitled to get ad revenue share
as long as they have at least one rating star. Helium doesn’t divulge how the
ad share is calculated but the more page views members get to all their
articles, the more money they will earn.
Stock Content
Members may also have their articles purchased by other
webmasters. Other webmasters searching for content may browse through Helium
and decide to republish any one of the articles on the website and make a
purchase. Helium will share the purchase price with the article owner.
These are five of the most common ways for members at
Helium.com to earn from the website. Helium also sets the payout level at $25
and once the payout is reached, request is sent for payment to Paypal. So if
you want to join Helium and start to earn money from the website, you need to
have a Paypal account.
