I kindly write this recommendation letter
for my student Kharis subkhan. He is a
student in third semester of English departmen in STAIN Salatiga. He is a member of International Class of
the University, so that he has very good capability in some foreign languages,
English and Arabic language. I admit his good skill in English, because I have
taught him in his class for two semesters
till now for Structure lecture and I am director of International class where he
studies. A year is enough for me to know
that he is a smart, creative, and active student. He has high curiosity to know
what points of lesson he doesn’t know. Active and critic is his precise
particular characteristic
Being a lecturer is to educate and teach
students. As his lecturer I never have serious problem to educate him, because
he has good behavior. He obedient everything I assign. He always make me
astonish and rightfully proud because of his great result. In addition, as
director of his class, I have a necessary duty to control my students’
progress. I admit that he has rapid progress in his language capability
especially in English. I still remember, about a year ago, when he was still in
first semester, I pointed him as a speaker of discussion between International
class of STAIN Salatiga and Christian high school of Salatiga. He spoke clearly
and fluently in explaining the movement of Salat (Islamic prayer). This is his
great capital to apply this program.
In addition, I do agree learning linguistic
included English needs much time. It needs more practices and habits. Kharis
subkhan is one of students who really want to master it well. As non-native
English speaker he still needs more experiences and he still needs study more
to sharpen and strengthen his capability. In summary, Kharis subkhan seems well-suited
to study abroad based on international course in a foreign educational
environment. His capability and strong motivation is capital and key to catch
his dream.
Finally, I feel that he would have more ability in English by applying Global UGRAD program
rapidly.
