Poetry....I love to read and write poetry. I think it is something that i do to release my innermost thoughts, feelings, and anger.
Poems are nice and beautiful if you are a good writer. To me,
Poetry is something special and unique. I use it to express my feelings. Sometimes i don't even
know what my poems mean neither do i really know how they are suppose to rhyme. But i know that once you write one, you will start getting
better and better after each poem. For me, i have wrote over 30 over poems and each and every one is unique, special and has a meaning within it. Most of my poems relate to love, living life, problems, and other stuff. Most of it are about love although I myself don't know what channelled me into writing poetry. I only started writing poetry October last year and it has brought me quite far. Soon enough my poetry is going to be published in a book by the International Library Of Poetry. I am very
happy for myself and I never would have thought poetry could bring me far. I am also in a poetry competition held USA. I am only 14 years old and i live in Malaysia with my family. I am very proud of myself and I know they are too. I just want everybody to try writing poems to express your
feelings cause it is a much healthier way than violence and other ways. Writing poems can brighten days and put a smile on people's faces. I know that from experience. I used to think i could never ever give someone else a better present than a poem. A
Poem is more meaningful than gifts and exclusive presents that cost a lot. I personally think that a poem is enough and sufficient to make someone happy. My love for poetry is growing very much and i am very happy for that. It has made me understand english literature and the malay language poets' poetry much better. Before this i used to hate and think poetry is such a waste of time but obviously it is not. I really haven't found the inner reason of what made me go into poetry. Writing poetry and reading it wasn't really me when i was about 11 to 12 cause i never understood it. Now i love writing it so much and i am currently a semi-finalist in a poetry competition.
