LA BELLE DAM SAM MERCI This is one of the best poems of John Keats. It is just one of the gems of his creations. The composer of this poem discribes about the beauty of the nature very deep, and he feels the climate. Through his words granary is full, he explains about the quality of the animals. They work very hard to save food for their future life at the time when it would be very difficult for them to search food. Here he explains that when people are young with full strength, they should work hard and save for their future retited life. He has given a deep thought to the strangers. He explains how it would be sad to move with strangers without knowing their qualities. He says that we should be very cautious while moving with new persons. He further insists that no one should be traped because of the beauty of the face of the unknown persons. He feels that they accept whatever gifts we offer and there would not be any real receipprocation from them, by which we would be very much disappointed. He puts the fact how many Emperors and Kings and other personolities had lost their positions because of the unwanted desires of love. This poem clearly teaches the lesson that everybody should be very careful in selecting the life partner. Without understanding with the life patner, the life would not be happy. Once you read the poem with involvement, surely it would stay for ever in your mind.
