When i was 20

Youth! the word itself sounds so fresh, good and full of life. so is our youth, specially those 20’s. So when we arte all done with our crushes and love, with break-up and make-up and all sorts of things, suddenly out of the blues.... you want to EARN!. You completely understand that once to become a doctor or a psychologist (or anything you have desired) you will be able to spend as you wish. But, your wish has popped up much before its time, years before infact. Now you want to be that “independent, responsible, self-suffuicient, and helping ( if with some extra money )individual. Now, asking for that 50rs. note from dad, hurts.....infact kills your ego.Y ou have to get money....ofcourse you dont like doing odd jobs, but MONEY is the word, and SELF-RESPECT is the case.
Ready to invest your precious time, that you most preffered spending with your friends, is now going to be spent giving interviews. The moment you read “ Freshers welcome, for part-time and full-time jobs, handsome salary offered” you take a flight to the center all prepared for the interview. If you are amongst those who is here for the interview, only because your friends are also doing so, then your mind wanders and you think of all the things you would be doing else than sitting in this “fully air-conditioned” office, where you still feel chockrd, and you are completely convinced that you feel much relaxed in your dirty pair of jeans else than these starched shirts and a tie that might choke you to death. But hey! that is a loser’s attitude , isn’t is? So, you dony preffer of thinking of all this at all, though it keeps kicking your mind everytime you go through your resume, did you count on how many times have you done and redone it? I guess, youth is a phase to give one the confidence to think that doing more than two things at a time, is n easy job. And when you are 20, doing 20 things at a time, is also not a challange, infact it is “cool” , that is what being “capable” is called these days.
Youngsters of this age are smart enough to get thriough the interviews and the companies, they are hiered by are smarter, as they are able to obsorb all the energy of this young soul ( with enthusiasm from his side and exploitation from their’s being a free package) for rs.3000 pm. This is aphase which almost all youngsters live, you either pick up a job, or you dont, you are either satisfied or disappointed, whatever be your deed, you have built a memory, a precious memory of realising your need to be independant, andmaterialising dreams and beind impulsive is....bieng YOUNG, so, no regrets for whatever done. Cheers to your youth, the best phase of your life!
