TRIPPIN' ON MY DAY

Book Summary by: honnasiri

TRIPPIN' ON MY DAY
(Lyrics and Music by Sunil Noronha)
I saw the sun shining through my window pane when I got
out of bed this morning.
I said to myself,What a beautiful Day
HOt tea brewing on a metal stove
A mug is all I need to put my soul from my troubles far away.
Come on now, won't you give me a hand?
I feel like I'm on No Mans Land
Am I the only only one who feels this way inside?
Speak your mind
Set yourself free
You deserve your liberty
This is not only one mans stand
I'm trippin' on my day
You dont wannt to to intrude on my space, oh no
Many miles away
In this place you'd want to go to
Why dont you just say that you want to break free to
Im just trippin', trippin' on my day
All the small little things that dopnt mean a thing
They just arent worth your time
No loss, No gain,Safety for a price
Thats not worth breaking your mind
Dont talk about responsiibilty, ambition, goals or drive.
It doesnt verify in my mind just because its recognized.
All things arent right because they are well organized
If you want to have soul, you've got to trust
How it comes from inside
When you dony know yourself, you cant be right
Neither can you blame me for being wrong
The best we can do is support each other
As we go along
I'm trippin' on my day
You dont wannt to to intrude on my space, oh no
Many miles away
In this place you'd want to go to
Why dont you just say that you want to break free to
Im just trippin', trippin' on my day

sure you are a very good poet...but i think your poems need to have rhyme schemes... i'm bob, ceo, bharti publications. i read your poem..and it was good..but had you put a little more effort, & applied the concept of rhyme scheme, i would have surely sent you a consent letter with a cheque, to publish your poem for the 12th graders in india. hoping to see an improved version of this poem. yours faithfully bob (ceo)
