The book is on the life and teachings of Sri Chaitanya. He is the most prominent of the saints of Bengal. He started the
Gaudiaya Vaishnava Movement with his acintya-bheda-abheda-tattva (simultaneous oneness and difference)
philosophy which is a culmination of the three other already existing Vaishnava sampradayas.
The First ten chapters deal with the ways to approach God. It gives elaborate discription of the unlimited forms of God, His avatars and His beauty.
The next ten chapters deal with devotional
service rendered by His devotees. Here is an exposition of the various kinds of ecstasies a devotee can experience in his service to God. A highly scientific concept with precision.
The following five chapters attack the core principles of impersonalism, monism and voidism. The author catogorically proves the fact that God is sentient on the basis of Sri Chaitanya's philosophy.
Final seven chapters are filled with transcendental topics which give the reader an indepth knowledge about the intricacies involved in the process of Self relialisation through the Bhakti cult on the foot prints of Sri Chaitanya.
A significant work on the most sublime and most debated topic:GOD.
