Ageing - The brighter side.

Book Summary   by:thush     Original Author: Thushara james
ª

We have to remember that it is not only the duty of the young to look after the elders, but it is also a pleasure to care for those who cared for us. Unless we take care of the aged today, we will also be neglected tomorrow. Let the old be allowed to have their whims and fancies, their strange quirks of mood. Let the young tolerate them. While the government provides the facilities to the elders mentioned above, the family can provide emotional comfort and make their life a pleasant one. Children should be provided with opportunity to mingle with elders so as to enjoy their love and affection. We must remember that one day wrinkles will appear on our face, grey streaks will appear in our hair , our backs will become bent and we'll look for support............ "It's true that youth is like day, all sunshine and light, And old age is like the night. But don't forget, the night sky has moon and the stars".
