Personal development is a gradual and sequential process. It requires understanding of the self and relationship with others.
Our actions are based upon our core beliefs which are our deepest assumptions about the way the world works. We need to examine them and to reflect on their worth and connection.
An ideal world is what we want to happen. But in the real world we know that principals are constantly under pressure and we tend to act in ways that offend our deepest beliefs. Nevertheless, our goal is to have such clarity about our core beliefs and
principles they imply that following them in our
personal and professional lives becomes easier. This is what constitutes principal centeredness. This adherence to our principles becomes the source of our moral strength.
