The First, Wen Yiduo was approve of which Qu Yuan was a great writer in the history of ancient Chinese Literature,he wrote
this point of view in the article:Liao Jiping's Comments on Li Sao.Secondly,in his article:The Notes of Reading Sao,Wen Yiduo confirmed that it was because the purity of Qu Yuan which lead Qu Yuan to kill himself,not for the love for his country and the advisement by sacrifice himself.From this point of view,we can see that Wen Yiduo put his mind above normal society.Thirdly,in the paper:On Qu Yuan—Talk about the problem with Mr.Sun Cizhou,Wen Yiduo illustrated that Qu Yuan was a civilized slave,at the same,Qu Yuan was also a politician and liberator which made the fine forms for the poems,and let the poems contribute to education.He thought that Qu Yuan had opposite sides in his character.And he emphasized the side that had the revolution of a slave,the dignity of a human being,the fieriness and loneliness of a person,the director of humanity. It was because Wen Yiduo faced a series of new incidents in Old China,his ideology had developed to a new and a high level.Lastly,in his essay:The Peoples' Poet-Qu Yuan,Wen Yiduo was full of praise on Qu Yuan’s character and moral quality,he praised them on the point of the people. This conclusion represent Wen Yiduo’s ideal of democracy.As a whole,from the course of Wen Yiduo’ research on Qu Yuan,we can see the development and thoroughness of this research,at the same time,in this course,Wen Yiduo’s ideology had developed,heightened and settled at last,the former is a way for the expression of the latter.It is subjective in the explanation of Qu Yuan to some degree.
