By taking Qingyunshan scenic area in Fuzhou city as an example, The paper focuses on the issue of tourism and its environment,
highlights the two planning aims-to develop tourism and
to protect ecological environment. Based on the analysis of the present landscape pattern, the evaluation of landscape suitability, the discrimination of ecological security patterns in landscape and the assessment of landscape sensitivity, the paper puts forward an overall planning scheme for Qingyunshan scenic area, and then, probes into the subject from the whole to part step by step, stresses three -
scale planning and design-the whole patterns in macrocosm, the
functional districts in mid - scale, and the unit design in micro-coam . At last, the paper compares the planning scheme with the previous patterns to examine its superiority or inferiority. The results show that it is feasible in practice to conduct
landscape ecological planning & design of
tourist destinations and it can bring forth the balance of ecology and the harmony of human - earth system for tourist destinations.
