There are many people who came to Bangalore for their career, but there are persons who want to be actors or who want to make career in Film land come here. Some of them are succeeded and many people lost their confidence and few of them are working in Gandhinagar. Let’s have a glance on their life.
Gandhinagar is the heart of Bangalore city. And it is busy whole day. Many people float in through this majestic area. There are innumerable numbers of hotels are situated here. And many more bars too.
There are some hotels where film personalities visit. Ex. Janardhan Lodge, Kanishka hotel and greenhouse hotel. If you move from this area you can meet the acting aspirants who had colorful dreams in their eyes.
Here I met Mr. Ramu from Hassan. Now he has tired physically but not mentally. He is on his way to hunt for the producers and directors to seek the opportunity. Ramu is in Bangalore for last one month. Now his pocket is also empty. And he is working in a bar in Gandhinagar. At first he had money and he has visited many producers and directors and even actors for opportunity. But many of them laughed and many of them scolded badly. So he had faced many bad experiences. Even he visited the combines also. They told that they don’t know about that, they are only distributors. So at that he lost his confidence. But he can’t even go to his home back. He came here to become something. Yeah it’s the ego problem.
At the end of month he has no paisa in his pocket. And he joined the bar to earn the bread. Now also he is trying and finally he said that ‘I was very happy in my hometown with my peer group, here it’s very difficult to live’ and mourned.
And here is another guy who has a long hair and a guitar in his hand. At first I thought he might be assistant music director. So I went and asked him about himself. Oops he is also one of the aspirants and wanted to become music director.
But he is very confident and his name is Kumar and he is from Bijapur.
He is standing infront of Greenhose hotel to catch the music directors. He is in Bangalore from eight days. At morning and evening he waits and give resume and cd’s to directors or the film personalities. And in the noon he will have a visit to the cubbonpark and sleeps there upto evening. He eats puri and set dosa in the road side hotels to save the money. ‘It’s Bangalore and busy city, here no one cares for others’ murmured with tears in his eyes.
And here is a group who has just visited to see the actors and ask an opportunity. They are from Teerthhalli. They all want to work in production departments. ‘Because there they can see the actors and directors and it’s fun working with them’ they said.
See this is the daily scene of Gandhinagar. So to whom they must approach?
