Elena was born on Oct 15 1981. Elana ‘s Dad was an Engineer and her
mother was a teacher but
Both played
leisure Tennis and Admitted Elena and her brother in Moscow’s most popular Tennis Club when she was just 7 years old.
Unfortunately she was rejected by 2 main clubs of Russia,
because of her movement faults. Lastly she was received by the
well-known Spartak Club, and she was coached by Rauza Islanova,
mother and trainer of Marat Safin a well know Name in the world Tennis.
Elena’s says she cannot forget the period of 3 years under
training of
Islanova, which was very difficult and disciplined. As a result of the
training she reached this fame she says.
Les Petits Aces, in France was the first International Competition she won at 13. Today Elena Dementieva is one of the best Tennis Players in the world.
