Buddhist monks at the Khao Wang Temple in Petchaburi province in Thailand have been alarmed at the current increasing population of monkeys living in the Buddhist temple. With the surging number of monkeys, Thai vets have been called to perform vasectomy to the monkeys at the said temple, which is about 105 km northwest of Bangkok. The vets removed the part of each of the ducts where semen passes from the testicles. This controls reproduction in monkeys.
