A
helpless Cry…. The deafning silence of the night was
suddenly interrupted by the clatter of
fiery rain , I was suddenly awaken.
Unable to get back to sleep I helped myself creep through the darkeness towards
the room window. The earlier day certain thought which made me ill at ease made
its way out when I was dozing just standing
looking out of the transom and it soon took over me ! Let me impel your
attention towards it….
The
Generation gap is widening at an express speed indeed . Today’s affluent life style, the cheesy slang , the
world of discotheque & pizzas, leaving aside a bunch , has hypnotised
almost all generation X youths’; even
the Educational institutions are not spared..and ofcourse how will they be , if
the input itself is just too malicious ?
In this
treacherous world where
humanity has started to stink, its very difficult for
the sensitive, weak heart , cowardly
people to survive AND forlornly
if you are one of them & if you fail to adopt yourself to the
changing or
rather ‘changed’ scenario you are bound to be tormented by your own loving peers and one day you will
succumb to this noxious world and have
nothing but ‘A helpless cry…’
Wondering
why I am saying all this ? Well, the other day a fresher at my college was
being ragged (though within limits) simply because he turned out to be really
innocent and shy enough ; was such a behaviour really justified ? Not all are born with the ‘Golden spoon’ in
their mouth but still each and everyone has their own distinct identity and it
should be certainly respected. ‘Monsters’, as I would love to call them , try to look
within yourself and for a minute envisage yourself as a victim of ragging…and ‘experience’
the dilemma ! It’s a
wake up call for u ……life goes beyond that too…!!
Upmanship
has taken forefront. Everyone is just
too busy in proving the other wrong and making their point . Competition is
just ripping off the average and below average graders…and the vaccum thus
created is filled by rather forged ‘Scholars’…..is their any solution to these
issues rather than just having ‘A helpless cry’…
Don’t worry
, I alarm the populace who have / are experiencing the above mess. There is a solution to this too….and its in
your hands , just you have to anaylse it. Wake Up ,Introspect yourself , be bold , have confidence and faith in yourself. Be ready to face the
situation bravely.
As, I said earlier the scenario is changing
and unfortunately towards worse , Soon
good will be replaced by bad , truth by fallacy ,warmth and affection by selfishness
,love by hatred ..and finally peace by violence !! It is we ourself , who have
to adapt to this changing picture So, gear up yourself rather than just staring and cursing
the situation and get ready to embrace the situation as it comes . There is no
time left to wait and gawk….Sadly, if you do , I bet you will have nothing but ‘A
helpless Cry…………’
