                                          All for the Sake of Berries
As a child I was fascinated by the oddest of ideas. It is one of my childhood experiences. Once while eating berries, I swallowed the seeds along with them. My brother knowing that what foolish notions I had, and would believe anything he said, started putting on a serious act. He told me that because I had swallowed the seeds, now that I drank water, a tree would grow within me. I found it very amusing. But I was very happy because now I would not have to go in search of berries, and they would always be available to me. The same night I felt a tree growing in my body, its branches coming out of my mouth, ear and nose. While the top was protruding out of my head. My feet became fixed to the same place. I could neither sit nor lie down, and was stranded in one place. Though I felt very hungry, I could eat nothing as the branches were hanging out from my mouth. My dream of eating berries most of the time shattered. I wanted to move but could not. I tried and cried, the tree had put so much of its weight on me, and restricted my movement and rooted me to one place. I cried, and struggled to get myself free. Suddenly I felt someone shaking me. It was my mother waking me up. Soon I realized, I was only dreaming but oh! what a nightmare. I thanked my stars. Since that day till today I have never ever swallowed another seed of a berry, lest a tree grew within me.
