Sometime around the year 1998, I remember God sent angels for my daughter when she was bitten by a dog on her left
cheek. I was so worried about her case because as we know, rabies can kill, and she is the only child my husband and I have. We had no extra money for our daughter''s anti-rabies injection and aside from that, budget for the fare to go to RITM (Research Institute for Tropical Medicine) in Alabang where she should be injected with the anti-rabies vaccine since I was unemployed during those years. My husband was the only one earning for our daily needs so there was not really any extra budget for my daughter''s case. My family was active with the Risen Christ Catholic Charismatic Group in Villa de Calamba during that year so I only lifted my daughter''s case, health and life to God. I pleaded and bargained hard that she be healed and if ever God decides to retrieve her back, I prayed that He take me instead. Twenty-four hours came to past and during that week''s Saturday prayer meeting, after sharing the accident, the whole Charismatic family prayed over my daughter and unknowingly, my brothers and sisters in Christ were already taking money out their very own pockets that they were able to produce enough fund since we needed around P3K for the vaccine. The meeting ended around 11pm. The following morning before my daughter, myself and two other sisters (sisters Bibeth and Chit) leaves for RITM, here comes a brother, (brother Ronald) who was rushing with his pick-up and says he will be driving and bringing us to RITM and back without asking anything for gas or a charge for the fare... And as the saying goes, the rest is history... My daughter is now a young lady and I owe her life first and foremost to our Lord God who really is a Great Healer and who makes the Way and to my Charismatic family. If not for them, because most of us during that time were unemployed and yet they contributed what was supposed to be their "budget" for their own needs and families yet they gave it to save our daughter''s life. Now, I''m happy to hear that that brother of ours is at San Carlos seminary and nearly becoming an ordained priest. I pray for each of you by brothers and sisters in Christ, that God continuously Bless you and your families and keep the angels among you... amongst us...
