Nike was purely made by a ''self made man.'' He was no one special, no one with all the recognization and power. Someone who was very focused and decided that he had to do what he wanted to! So in 1965, the former miler, social worker anthropology grad struck the shoes in his van drove to high school track met and talked with shop runners. He listened to their needs, built them prototypes and helped them win.
