GOD - The Theory Of Divinity
GOD - The Theory Of Divinity.
Chapter 1
Dunga-Dunga, a caveman, was well reputed. His wisdom and his visage was well recognized across the lands. Dunga-Dunga was born, approximately 3,000,000 years before Aditya Nair of Chembur, India. He was the leader of all his men and women and their children.
Dunga-Dunga was aware that he was smarter than all of his people. He also realized, unfortunately, that there was some force working, even above himself. At first, he was arrogant and egoistic and sacrificed all of his daughters and 200 of his wives to stop this problem. He drank a little of each of his victim’s blood. But it still did not help.
Then, one day, Dunga-Dunga was struck down with a condition, 3,000,000 years later identified as common-cold. It tortured him for a painful 7 days. Dunga-Dunga had never suffered anything like this since he had taken his Man’s vows and he was thoroughly shaken by the experience. All of his remaining wives, 250 of them, were at his side for all the 7 days and 200 of them were struck down with the same ailment and died. 50, somehow survived.
Dunga-Dunga was completely shocked by the brutality of nature and this life-threatening experience. For the first time in his life he felt grateful. He was puzzled as to whom or what he was feeling grateful to. There was also a feeling of fear, of unwarriorlike terror. There was something more powerful than he, the great Dunga-Dunga. That thing needed to be continuously pleased.
The first pieces in the great myth called “GOD” formed in the head of the great Dunga-Dunga.
Some 20 years later, when Dunga-Dunga was on his death-bed, he told his 150 warrior sons to worship and fear Water, Fire, Skies and sacrifice anything they saw fit to please these.
The seeds had been sown. GOD was “BORN”.
Chapter 2
Punga-Munga, the great-great-great-great-great……great grandson of Dunga-Dunga had followed all the Greater Rules which his warrior father Munga-Bunga had asked him to follow. But he, being smarter than all before him, decided that GOD was still missing a form, a definite structure, something which his dumbass brethren could worship.
It was then, that GOD took a Physical form. Now it had spirit as well as form. It was fathomable. It was worshipped, respected, FEARED.
Previously, only one who could fathom a force stronger than nature, stronger than fire and even stronger than the Great Dunga-Dunga could actually pray; but now, after Punga-Dunga’s excellent application of brains, everyone could, at least, see a GOD. Now, there was a personal connectional between each man and his deity. Of course, whoever did not worship Punga-Dunga’s GOD would immediately be annihilated.
EPILOGUE
Sometime later, the single mass of land which constituted hospitable Earth got split up and Dunga-Dunga’s men eventually got distributed in 6 continents.
Somewhere in between, in a hidden land, really old Gents who liked to sit under really old trees cooked up Hinduism. Then, another 3,000 years later, an exceptionally talented buncha old dudes brewed Christianity. Then later, an opportunistic Leader of men divined Islam. To the West there were some more religions popping up. To the East, there were even more.
GOD had arrived. GOD had come to stay.
Author’s Note
(And apologies too)
GOD, according to this writer is a ‘concept,’ an ‘idea,’ developed in really smart, meditative, slick, but fearful minds, and sold, sometimes forced by really enterprising dudes and dudettes.
I am sure this shall infuriate many a mind. But I sincerely hope it touches some, on a spiritual level. Surely, our ancestors did not intend for us to fight and kill each other this way. Man, as a breed, is destroying OUR Earth.
Okay, You Pointed Somn’ Out. Now What?
