Peace Of Mind The Ultimate Goal of Humankind!

Peace Of Mind The Ultimate Goal of Humankind!
“But how can one achieve a”Peace Of Mind” if his stomach is empty!”

By any means, would you help a starved person around you? I want your honest answer.

We learned that a person is basically a good human-being in general. Well, if one (like you) is asked of the above question we all believe that a person (like you) will answer yes.
But again, by any means would you really
help a starved person around you?
I have seen a Reality TV Show that made an experiment about a Beggar ( who was performed by an actor) who was starved to death.
On the scene, more or less, there were about hundreds of people who ignored the beggar. Untill there was one Good Samaritan who gave help to the supposed to be beggar.
If people are generally good, having been educated religiously, shouldn’t all people act and behave like The Samaritan? I am sure that we wouldn’t like the people in the above mentioned Reality TV Show for many of them did not find any means of helping starved beggars.
Nonetheless, If you were there around, with all sincerity, will you say that you wouldn’t be the one of those hundreds of people who ignored the starved beggar? How many hungry or starved person whom you happened to pass by without rendering any means of help?
Well, to tell you honestly, with all sincerity, I am one of those guilty people who did not act and behave like one of those Good Samaritans. Though I have experienced once giving to a hungry beggar one pouch of my meal left over from a restaurant (which I suppose to spare for my family''s present-meal). However, more often, every time I have ignored these hungry beggars on the streets. For I did not do any means to help these beggars.
Whatever reasons I have, I plead guilty with the premise question mentioned herein.
One critical concerns with most of our people is that of this one particular issue: That if we help these beggars directly, we are teaching them to become irresponsible & lazy. They do not have a self reliance, dignity, virtue, among other things.
Well, if we dig on to resolving those aforementioned concerns, these boil down to Poverty,  Unemployment,  Socio-Economic, Insurgency, Country’s Peace and Order Situation,  Political Will, Political Stability - too many to mentioned!
Will people still blame these hungry beggars for being irresponsible & lazy? That they do not have a self reliance, dignity, virtue, among other things?.
People on Earth, Aren’t we suppose to give a little love and it all comes back to you? (“As what the Soft drink Ads Say isn’t it?”) Ask them if this is the life they want? I am sure 99% would say no! this is not the life they want!
Now, will we still claim our of not helping hungry beggars because we will be teaching them to become irresponsible & lazy? That they do not have a self reliance, dignity, virtue, and among other things?
If people will just help these hungry beggars, somehow, by just filling - up their stomach, in their little means, the issue of peace of mind will then be achieved.
If you are guilty of the above premise question like me, please share with me even a single instance where you were able to help beggar, please share it with me here. I would love to hear them.
If you have not help a beggar even at once, please go out! And help even a needy person if not a beggar one just around your corner. Then tell me your honest feelings. I would be happy to read them, At the end of the day, “The Ultimate Goal Of A Humankind Is Peace of Mind”

Having said that, I am sure you too will have a peace of mind!
