No I am not born in this country,
nor is it my motherland.
claiming myself, son of the world;
alone on this stage I stand....
Countries are just made by people,
but earth makes them all.
So why this ego, why this attitude;
of drawing lines on the globe.........
Nationalismis nothing but,
communalism extended version.
Silent reason for wars, pains and miseries;
do we really need a partition??????
No Indian, no American people of the world are we,
one whose wind, water and base fills life within.
We cant be different, because of the kings that rule;
the cruel politics, the poetic lue...............
Same blood within each of us,
same soul survives....
same humanity beats within;
saying we are all alike......
So why these lines on the globe,
why this flowing rivers of blood???
Forgetting our countries and all,
cant we accept the world on a whole.............
Fumes of blasts soffocating the world,
temperature rising high..
Our mother is on bed,
still we ask for a why.....
War for dignity of our nations, open riots are those,
loosers many, but leaving behiend winners none....
Uncapping bottles of Champane, the winners laugh,
Happiness only for them, just few sitting on the chairs........
Kings are gone, system is changed,
but those lines remain.
tearing the world into pieces;
striking it again and again.................
