The controversy over the Jaimala issue (Temple Trouble July 16) made disturbing reading. It’s really shame
to note that such a controversy has come out from such a highly literate state. One cannot understand the logic behind such incident now surfacing after a period of 18 years. Where were these so called protectors of god at the time of the so called women’s entry into the sanctum sanctorium? No doubt, this indicate to the intriguing politics in the pilgrim centre.
God made all human beings with equal power or status. He does not have any gender discrimination. Instead men have created boundaries between god and man. If such controversy surfaced from a northern less literate state it would have been more understandable, but this is from a 100% literate state. Oh God, where are we heading too? Are we going back to the stone age?
