Your governance special issue brought out a clear picture of the India’s democratic
system.. As the saying goes " Justice delayed is justice denied. Even though our judiciary in the recent past made some land mark and courageous verdicts, its still rolling under the red tape and serving for the rich and upper class. We need to speed up the judicial process, especially for the downtrodden is the need of the hour. Dr. Malay Choudhuri rightly points out in his column , "Fill up 100% of all the vacancies and reduce the back log of cases by allocating a sizable amount and finalize the pending cases against the innumerable under trails still languishing in jails for years. Send this issue to the authorities for a nominal price and at least let them read and think about this serious issues facing by the common man.
