Since its inception in 2006, Al Jazeera English has turned to a global English-language 24h news channel thrilling the world by “setting the news agenda” headquartered in Doha, Qatar, Kuala Lumpar, London and Washington DC.

Al Jazeera is the first global high-definition television network with news features and analysis, documentaries, live debates, current affairs, business, and sports believe it or not.

Aimed at providing both regional voice for Middle East and a global perspective to a potential world audience of over one billion English speakers, Al Jazeera has a variety of programmes ranging from current events, back in time, science, among others.

News hour gives the current view of events as they unfold, Frost all over the world, digs deep into politics, economic, social, science, art, culture etc; Listening post; with a view on the world media house how they cover events, Fabulous picture show thrill the movie industry; 48 takes it adventurous; The Pulse makes it good to know health situations, Witness; telling the real story; Inside story, give a big picture of the current event, RizKhan, people put their views head.

For every woman, gender balance is initiated adding the women to the global world. Walls of shame give a clear sense of boundaries of division leading the world into havoc.

1O1 east, leaves stone unturned with the clear interactive analysis of the Asian countries.

With the aim to reach around 40 million households, Al Jazeera has exceeded that launch target, reaching 80 million homes worldwide. And as of 2007, the channel is one of the three largest global English language 24 hour news channels, before other two being BBC World founded by 1991 and CNN International founded in 1980s.

In addition to its four broadcast centres, Al Jazeera English has 21 supporting bureaux which gather and produce news. It also shares resources with the Arabic language channel''s 42 bureaux and is planning to add further bureaux.

The manpower of Al Jazeera has placed tension to other competing media houses. The station has Veteran British broadcaster Sir David Frost who joined Al Jazeera English to host his show Frost Over the World.

Former BBC and CNN anchor Riz Khan, who previously had been the host of the CNN talk show Q&A, also joined. He hosts his shows Riz Khan and Riz Khan''s One on One.

Former U.S. Marine Josh Rushing joined Al Jazeera in September 2005. He was the press officer for the United States Central Command during the 2003 Invasion of Iraq, and in that role had been featured in the documentary Control Room. When subsequently joining Al Jazeera, Josh commented that "In a time when American media has become so nationalized, I''m excited about joining an organization that truly wants to be a source of global information..." Josh works from the Washington, DC broadcasting centre.

Former CNN and BBC news anchorwoman and award winning journalist Veronica Pedrosa also joined the team, along with CNN producer James Wright, and Kieran Baker, a former editor and producer for CNN, who most recently was Acting General Manager, Communications and Public Participation for ICANN.
On 2 December 2005, Stephen Cole, a senior anchor on BBC World and Click Online presenter, announced he was joining Al Jazeera International.

The network announced on 12 January 2006 that former Nightline correspondent Dave Marash would be the co-anchor from their Washington studio. Marash described his new position as "the most interesting job on Earth."

On 6 February 2006, it was announced that the former BBC reporter Rageh Omaar would host the daily weeknight’s documentary series, Witness. And the managing director for Al Jazeera English is Nigel Parsons.

The manpower of professional personal especially former employees of known news network puts Al Jazeera at the top of being reat to western media vehicles.

The channel is available in many countries, mostly via satellite, cable, also online and a low quality RealVideo stream allows viewing.
Online subscriptions allowing unlimited viewing may be purchased from Al Jazeera on Jump TV, Real, VDC, headlines on twitter. But according to the Al Jazeera English Watch Now web page, not all services are available everywhere due to licensing/distribution restrictions.

Al Jazeera with its notion “setting the news agenda” provides balanced, accurate, truthful, and up to date information. This has made the station win global attentions with everyone relying to it for quality services.
