How do we define falling in love?
Most of us can say that we love a particular item: our playstation, a pair of shoes,
a favourite food, a movie or a book. We can say with ease that we love our parents, siblings, grandparents aunts and uncles and the whole range of other relatives or friends that come biologically.
But how can we tell we have fallen in love? Below are some classic symptoms.
You can’t stop thinking about that person.
Their name is the most
beautiful sound you''ve ever heard.
You walk down the road smiling at nothing.
If they''re sad you get a sinking feeling in your stomach.
If they smile at you, you feel like you’re floating
Suddenly, you can write poetry. What''s more you want to.
All the things they like (which you’ve always hated) seem like the most interesting things on earth.
You save odd bits of their belongings.
You can happily sit by the phone all day waiting for a call from them.
You will learn the most difficult language in the world just to tell them I love you.
You truly believe you would give your life for theirs.
You buy your mum a second hand bracelet and blow the rest of your savings on a ring for them.
You hate when other people take up
precious time on the phone.
Anyone who resembles them must be a wonderful person too.
So why we fall in love with a particular person? Why do we love one of a twin but not the other?
All we can say is that love makes life worth living, and true love, when it happens to the same two people, can be the most wonderful feeling of all.
So just enjoy!
