Stay Alive To Surge Ahead

Article Summary by: Prosenjit

Original Author: Prosenjit Bhattacharya
Life is an accident. Neither our parents can choose us nor can we. This brings us to the reality of Life. To live life lively
we need to understand the  nuts and bolts of the game. Because, Life can be very happily lived only when we find a satisfied and fulfiling living.Goal setting is a key aspect. Don''t worry if at first you don''t know precisely what you want to do. Just never make the blunder of never committing to anything. Sometimes the answer is very simple - just pick up something.
Don''t be afraid to dream big - or small. And never let others define your success. Once you know what you want, just chase your dream. Everyone has a habit that once served us well but is now dragging us down. It might not be drink or drugs, but it''s an addiction nonetheless. Friends, procrastination is an addiction. So is being defensive. Or to accept responsibility for our mistakes.
The adage says that "what gets measured gets managed." That''s why successful weight loss programs insist on a weekly weigh - in. To be able to follow the oracle, you need to be a free soul.
And freedom is the courage to sacrifice for what we want. And everything we want has a price. There''s a price for every freedom, something to be given up for every liberty. It''s up to us to weigh the price we must pay for each of our freedoms.
Life demands excellence. Going far beyond the call of duty, doing more than others
expect---this is what excellence is all about. And it comes from striving, maintaining the highest standards, looking after the smallest detail, and running the extra mile. Excellence means caring---it means making a special effort to do more.
My dad always used to say, "Don''t ever look back and wonder ''what if.''" You have got a dream, right? And now you have the action plan, so what are you waiting for? Plan the work and work the plan. Remember always, life''s the art of drawing sufficient conclusions from insufficient premises. And our regrets about life and living are just as personal as our finger prints.
