Boss - A Professional Relation with Team Members:
The elegance of governing a team and getting the maximum out of the
team not by ruling but by co-ordinating things is almost a night mare to all the bosses in India. Many of the famous psycologists says that there are three stages of "EGO" in mid of human mind. They are
Parent stage,
Adult Stage and
Child Stage. More to elobarate, person who is in
Parent stage thinks that I know everything and the opponent know nothing. Person who is in
Adult stage thinks that I know things as you know things. Person in
Child stage thinks that, I dont know any thing and you know everything. If a person want to get a maximum from another person, then he must first find out in which ego stage the opponent is and try to bring him to the Adult Stage either from the Parent stage or the Child stage and then balance the relation and make him utilized for his professional benefits. The Adult stage is very suitable for making a good mileage from a person, because; a person in a adult stage is confident enough that he knows thing and also respects that there is a meaning in the message said to him from a adult stage. So, if a boss want to make a full mileage from a
employee, he has to come to the adult stage form the parent stage and advice him on the things to be done after bringing hin to the Adult stage. A employee who has done some mistakes or in-completion of work should ask for apology from the child stage and bring the Boss to the Adult stage. Thus the whole things get balanced in bot their mind. So, try handing the ego stages effectively to avoid mis-happening in the professional life.
