The Manobo Tribe of Northern Mindanao,Philippines specifically the ones
living in the Hinterlands of Padiay,Sibagat,Agusan del Sur are mostly uneducated indigenious
people. Their living
condition is still very far from the civilized world.Although their place is just more or less Forty Five Kilometers from the
City proper of Butuan City(Capital City of Caraga Region,Philippines) they seemed to be so far because of the very poor road condition. Most of these people are Rebel Returnees and are engaged in farming.Although their land possess one of the very thick Forest in the North with Lauan Trees having a diameter of Two Hundred Centimeters and Natural grown Rattan of about Five Million Poles still standing the peoples income and living condition have not improve since time these people have seen Earth. Altough, there is one
school(ABAFI,Agusan Business and Arts Foundation,Inc. located in the Heart of Butuan City,Mindanao,Philippines) which is planning to build an academic college and High School in the area but is still not sure due to financial restrain. The Natives are hoping that one day this School will be succesful in its plan to build and teach their constituents should there be any Grants from some Institutions. Fact is with no Electrification and with the very hard mode of Transportation going to the Area of Padiay,Sibagat,Agusan del Sur,Philippines due to very bad road and no Bridges at all in the Wawa River and other Waterways the Manobo Tribe in this locality will remain an outcast to the New Civilization. By now only Carabaos and Single Motorcycles are the only mode of travel and it would take about four hours to maneuver in the distance of just about forty five Kilometers by Motorcycles. The rainwater have been trimming down the main roads thus creating huge canals at the middle of the Roadway since there are no maintenance. The Manobo Tribe is still and will always Pray that sooner or latter Electricity and Good Roads will reach their Homes so that their Children could enjoy proper Education unlike their forefathers! Please don't forget to rate this after reading . Thank you very much!
