This Xmas under our tree
Sits our beloved dog in a picture staring at me,
Instead of her ashes of her soul to be
in our sights,
Its a blank hole filled with the odd flicker of Xmas
lights.
You all have no idea what your Error has made,
On the 13th September she should not of stayed.
You had our trust as vets and as human beings,
We didn''t think you''d avoid this distressing situation and our feelings.
And with this to you all on this day,
Xmas eve upon us "Oh god I hope you have changed your way"
Our loyal companion of 14yrs thrown at the dump,
Our health going down hill because shes amongst wet rubbish and slump.
So again I say to you all
I hope you feel short in shame and you don''t feel tall.
As your error has caused so much heartache and tears
deep depression, anger and all our
nightmares.
One call to us later on that day,
Is all that it would of taken to have our Pets ashes home where she belongs to stay.
No apologies made from you all until it was forced through our emails,
articles written in newspapers then out you came with your false tales.
This Xmas day when you sit with your family and pets,
Take time and realize you are meant to be more compassionate vets.
Its not all about medicines and and surgery and things,
Its about compassion, trust not just needles that sting.
To all the animals that are placed in such a horrid situation,
Join as one and fly freely to the angels.
Elvis Where you are is a just a place we didn''t want you to be,
So with this girl, follow that star home to us to by our Xmas tree.
Precious dog when you find us, you know you are home
