OLD IS GOLD
"Old is Gold" is a very known and familar proverb. The actual meaning of this proverb is that whatever is old is actually valued as gold.It also says that , we should not consider any old thing as a waste , as every old thing is a gold.
It can be explained in more detail with some examples. First, the monuments , the statues and the broken old buildings , pillars etc. , which we preserve today, valueing it more than gold is actually the damaged , old buildings of centuries ago.These are preserved in the hope of preserving our old traditions and cultures.
Secondly,if we take the example of friends , we value our old friends much more than anything and even more than our new friends.Our old memories are our gold
memories.Our old proverbs and old sayings are today our gold proverbs and sayings.
No one could deny the fact that whatever we value the most is the old things.
