ANGELS IN TROUBLED WATER
Man is the beautiful creation of nature on earth. Amongst other animals, he is incredible.
Man is bestowed with a numerous qualities in comparison to other creatures which have enabled him not only to protect himself from natural adversities but also to reign over the entire world. The two common ingredients of living beings on earth are animality and rationality. Animality refers to the activities of animals to fulfil their biological requirements which includes eating, sleeping, interaction with other animals, acts for reproduction to fight against extinction etc. Almost all animals prefer to live in small groups.
Rationality refers to the ability of animals which enables them to analyse the circumstance and act accordingly. This state of mind includes understanding the situation properly, analyzing its occurrence in the past, present condition and its future.
Except a few, almost all living creatures on earth, prefer to life in a group. This group is called society. Interestingly in a society every individual works for the common cause. It is widely seen in ants. They select their leader which is called queen and act according to her instructions. They know the work assigned to them by the queen and carry it out smoothly. For survival in rainy seasons they collect their foods well in advance during the summer and store it in a dry place. Ants can survive in every climatic condition except rain. Rainy days are bad days for them.
Human being is absolutely different from other animals. Animals are dominated by the nature and hence bound to act according to it for their survival. But human being can survive in all conditions of nature because he is more adaptive to changing conditions of the nature.
Man is a component of two qualities of animality and rationality. Man being the most judicious animal is regarded as Angel on earth. They are capable of carving out better ways for their survival. But what is obstructing them is man himself. Sometimes animality supersedes rationality and compels man to behave irrationally. This is the root of all evils in human mind. This leads to many acts against conscience and consequential lost of faith on others. This further paves the way where credibility of man is at stake. Trust on each other forms the pillar of the society on which every individual clusters. If the pillar is not fortified, the very existence of the entire society is weakened. Due to growing agony amongst human being, it seems angels have lost their credibility after coming to earth.
In a modern society human activities have become very fast. With advancement of science and technology, the man has become more materialistic. Many sophisticated commodities are fast entering into the day to day life of human being by creating an anxiety to acquire it in order to maintain his status in the society. This mentality is gradually driving human being from natural world to a materialistic world. A lot of work on the shoulder and a stipulated period of time to accomplish it, have made every one move fast. In other words, man is getting very little time to think of other except minding his own work.
Even though, modern world has brought better clarity and sharpness in human mind, often surrender themselves in front of the might. In order to become prominent in the society and get rid of the punishment for the crime they have committed, some people adopt the principle of might is right. This attitude compels, even men in principles, to act unlawfully to fulfil the desires of unscrupulous people in the society.
Every human being on earth desires to lead a peaceful life. The very instinct of human being is to go in search of peace. But in a modern world it has become a nightmare because here the status of man is being gauged in terms of commodities which have nothing to augment peace in the mind of human being in real sense.
