Englishman offers QR14,000 for missing pet

Article Summary   by:jonbon     Original Author: The penisula Qatar Reporter

Dave Gallagher is offering a reward of QR14,000 for his lost English
bull terrier who pulled a disappearing act from his owners residence
last Friday.

The
dog in question, Storm, trotted off from Gallaghers villa in Mamoura
over the weekend. Gallagher, who resides close to the Cambridge School
here, is now extremely worried and the inclement weather outside isnt
helping matters.

The
dog owner, from Englands northeast, told The Peninsula yesterday:
Storm is approximately five years old and has been here for only a
month. He is a very placid animal and would not harm anyone. I needed
to get special permission, almost like a character certificate, to
bring him here from the UK.

Storm
walked away while Gallagher had popped out to the grocery. The
electronic gate was not properly closing because the electrics had gone
haywire because of the rain. I had tried to close it fully but
couldnt. Storm must have slipped out through the opening, he said.
