" On a crucial decision
Johnny had to make, he was given an option whether to choose a
Pebble,
or a
Diamond. For some reason, considering also his young age at 12, he picked the
pebble rather than diamond. The old man man who let him choose between the two, a bit puzzled, asked Johnny, ''''
why? ''''. The young man, with his looks filled with innocence answered back, ''''
it''''s the first gift my bestfriend gave me when we were still 5''''. "
It''''s amazing there are still people who can distinguish what is really meant by "
value". Those who can risk a lifetime opportunity, in exchange of a much more meaningful object or event. In spite of a sizzling offer , or a huge sum of amount, they''''d still choose to stick with their valuable decisions. Johnny might not have any idea at all how much a piece of diamond costs, but in an instant,
he already knows what is more valuable.
If you come to think of this, what if Johnny was a bit older? Perhaps 25 years old, or 30? Do you still believe he''''d choose the pebble, which costs more than
20 years of friendship? Or, he''''d decide to pick the diamond that could cost more than
20 thousand bucks?
Probably, in your own opinion, you already knew. The people who''''d most likely first sink into your mind are the country leaders . It''''s just like saying, "the more we age, the faster we loose our quality of choosing cost over value ."
