the Black Death

Book Summary by: jeffrey anand

Original Author: jeffrey anand
The Black Death
As the sun entered into its morning session,
there was chaos which needed a mention,
there
were huge cries full of fright,
which the people felt it was their right.
But why were they crying with tears?
Was it just because they had some fears.
No,it was because of the evil plague,
which stood in their bodies like a terrible visage.
It left no gladness,it left no joy,
but only killed people much to their annoy.
What a terror!what a horror!
was it to die from this killer.
There was not a place to hide,
as to them death was open far wide.
the power of the plague could'nt be denied,
as it swept peasants and landlords, men and women alike.
Full of stink and dying with pain,
'Live' was the word that would go in vain.
What a worry they had to face?
missing the days of merry in a quick pace.
