How do you introduce the concept of globalization to a Country where the ''''World Series'''' includes States from New York to California? Where even the word ''''Football'''' is completely different from the game played by every other Country in the world.
American''''s may not realize it yet, but the World has many lessons to teach this nation that was built by breaking the backs of other civilizations - whist screaming for freedom and independence on behalf of it''''s residents WASP''''s.
I can say this because I am an American (now get ready to be shocked)- I''''m now living abroad - Yes! (gasp), I''''ve left the greatest Country that has ever been created. and that ever will be created, in the unbiased opinion of the true American - but I''''ve discovered something... America, when viewed from the outside is just a tiny bit -how should I put it... Self-involved?
That is to say, the US appears to have a heightened sense of Self awareness. I''''d best tread carefully here if I don''''t want to be accused of being ''''Un-American" and end up like that actress who criticized American conversation, what was her name? She moved to England too. She used to do feature films... I think she''''s doing commercials these days... Now then, because I need to practice, I shall try a bit of British understatement -
I''''d say that selling the idea of ''''globalization'''' to the American public might take a bit of effort but the nation would benefit from the seemingly insignificant points of view, of non-Americans.Write your abstract here.
