Global Warming:
The reasons for very hot temperature, the deaths due to sunstroke, the sudden rainfall in summer , in rainy season the cyclones, floods & droughts in some areas around the world & also water scarcity, the increase in the number of various diseases is due to
earth’s radiation called “GLOBAL WARMING”.
Global Warming & Its Effects:
Due to the increase in population, inorder to satisfy everyone’s basic needs- the forests were being destroyed. This had lead to result in increasing the percentage of
Carbon-
di-
oxide in the atmosphere. By using the phenomenon photosynthesis, the
trees are absorbing the carbon-di-oxide. But carbon-di-oxide is increasing day-by-day because of deforestation, so the earth’s radiation is being increased.
Since the earth’s
surface has been heating, the mountains presents in polar region are being melted. This had being resulted in increase of the sea level above the ground upto 6 to 7 feet. Because of this, the coastal areas are being disappeared. Some of
countries like London, Hong Kong, Rome, Netherlands, etc., their coastal regions are joining into the sea and the river water’s taste is being changed to salty. The half of the earth’s land area in Bangladesh was occupied by water.
There are so many changes have been taken place in the climate like sudden rainfall in the summer reason. This rainfall results to give scope for various diseases like diaheorea,dengue,malaria,etc., due to insects, mosquitoes. And in some countries there were heavy cyclones, droughts in some countries and water scarcity in some countries.
Preventive Steps For Global Warming:
1. Growing the forests i.e., growing the trees in & around our surroundings. The 33% of earth’s surface must be covered with trees. The absorption of carbon-di-oxide depends upon the age of trees. If the age of tree is more then it absorbs more carbon-di-oxide. So the earth’s surface heating will be reduced.
2. Utilization of Solar, Wind, Nuclear & Bio-Energies must be more than utilization of Coal, Petroleum and their by-products. Encouraging manual transport as possible and using the vehicles as less as possible. And establishing “NO-DRIVING” day once in month.
3. By using water economically and by using electricity upto necessary.

By following above preventive steps we can stop the earth’s surface heating i.e., “GLOBAL WARMING”
