If we look at restrospective history of mankind, since the man lived in caves until today, we can truly say that
fashion has changed. None have to do those early coats made with fur from animals that man himself hunting for lunch, with the current clogged, camperas, sacks or coveralls.
There were great changes over the centuries in the materials of various garments. Just as in the first half were used hides and skins, then came the fabrics manufactured in the loom. In the Middle Ages began knitted. And until the nineteenth century to manufacture elements were the natural fabrics such as cotton, silk and wool. It was in the last decades of this century, when it appeared synthetic fibres.
There were times when clothing was formed by tunics and sandals, robes with big and small. There was also the era of crinoline, wigs and tight corset. There were times long coats and short jackets, galleys, hats and berets. Also there boots, booties, leggings, stockings silk and all kinds of shoes. There were long skirts and short skirts, tubular, anchísimas, with planks, boards and board, with gathers, court rule and stick to the waist.
Men and women were seeking, through the mandate and guidance of the great designers, his identity, his personality, his elegance in the various styles of fashion. The dress became a very important detail in the lives of human beings.
If we look from the early twentieth century to the present, we can see how they were appearing on various details that marked major changes in fashion. That was how in 1914 came the first bra for women in 1934 and was marketed the first slip male. In 1939 was when the nylon began to be distributed, and 1939 also marked the year in which women began using trousers.
The year 1955 drew the wrath of jean in Europe. In 1959, Du Pont de Nemours invented Lycra. The year 1965 was initiated use of the miniskirt. The fashion punk made its appearance in 1975. In 1980 created the fashion yuppy. And the year 1985 was highlighted by the rise of fashionable underwear. In 1989 the Japanese invented the microfibre. In 1994 appeared garments alive. And with the arrival of 2000 was one started the use of smart clothes.
The
clothes had many reforms throughout history, certainly. The changes were so startling as they were also changes in the world in other orders, such as medicine, technology, architecture or industry. But something is not changed, and never will, and is the generator of these changes.
Human beings will always be the same, with pants or tunic, with a papyrus or a computer. Living in a cave or in a modern department. More wise or more ignorant, more good or less good, the man was, is and will always be the same. Proceeds from their genealogy, their temperament, their thoughts, their environment, their circumstances, their determination, their stance towards life. And, over time, will not change their identity.
