Romanticism in Literature.

Article Abstract by: Dreamsmore

Original Author: Dreamsmore.
The chief tendency of romanticists is that they dwell on the personal passion, on the subjective side of experience, and
on their own feelings and attitudes. Romantic writers highly value the creative function of the imagination, often claiming tat this faculty helps one arrive at greater truths than those revealed by facts or logic. The term Romanticism is also associated with a concern for the past and sometimes with an escape  from the day to day problems of the present.Romantic poets often make use of escotic settings and nature. Most of these tendencies are found in the writings of Poe, whittman, Emerson, Hawthorne Irving and others.
