to expression, diffusion, and security of the thought and knowledge to reverse worldly events. 


 Distinct techniques in time have permitted the works of cultures to be transmitted and preserved for us to experience.  Although, depending on each age, different observations are supported by the writing.
Originally in stone, later  to speak powerfully on wooden tablets, tablets of clay, in accordance with periods and regions, as well as silk and linen.  Also, there were many uses of papyrus and parchment.


However, with the invention of print, the commencing of the consolidation of the book is why we have certain knowledge today.
The printed book itself provided support and was the core of cultural communication. 


The technological advances in the areas of information and communication, has produced important transfomations in the quantities that can be published.  This is true for those who today speak of the e-book or electronic book, of which''s use has expanded greatly in last few years.                      


The e-book is a publication in a digital format that require certain devices for storage and software for reading.  In the beginning, e-books were the digitalization of already printed books.   And in the decade of the 80s, they were primarily commercial.


In the beginning of the 21st. century, the grand culmination of the power to communicate with these books, that had a variety of advantages,  mattered very  much to the reader as well as the author and editor. Every day there are new techniques being used to perfect the form of  distribution of these books.


The essencial advance in the huge contribution of these books is that they offer preservation of a treasure of knowlege from earlier generations with a historical legacy, cultural and representative indentity and thoughts of humanity from earlier in history.
