For three years now , my main Summer trip is to a place called Raas El7ekma or the wisdom head despite the nonsense
meaning of this name, it is a kind of a small gulf located 70 kilos before the famous great city of “Marsa Matrouh”, known in Egypt as the city with the best
beaches ever, but after lots of discoveries in Egypt all along its beaches and deserts and due to my humble experience I find Raas Elhekma this small gulf with its few hotels and villages as the most wonderful beach in Egypt to spend a whole vacation just enjoying the nature, the white sand, the noisy sun , the wild sea and lots and lots of swimming…….
I even went to different marvellous places in Raas Elhekma, some of them were luxurious and others were poor but they all shared the great nature of the place, the white sand and the lightly blue water with its various colours degrees, added to some palms and manmade plantation it is like a heavenly isolated island, dropped in the middle of an ocean, in which you can get to be primitive again very easily, you can get to have the fun you desired, you can enjoy your privacy without worries, you can enjoy beautiful mother nature and interact with it you and your beloved ones with no fears.
I went there with a group of family and friends, it was a lovely long week end we enjoyed each day and each hang out, the morning breakfast gatherings, the long water talks, the sand buildings, the long after noon swims, the calm sunset view and then the night walks, the late hangouts on a drink, and finally the calm gaming before sleeping.
Every body commented on the privacy of the place and how familial it was, and everybody enjoyed the beach as much as possible, for myself I enjoyed some swimming, some relaxation and a huge amount of fun with Yahiya on land and in sea.
I don’t know may be I will plan a new trip next vacation to Sharm probably in the wholly feast only to change views and people.
