Of all the 80 billion or so Homo sapiens at least 90% lived as hunter
gatherer. 6% lived with agriculture and 4% with various
primitive professions.Sadly 90% of all humans who have come on this earth had to live as primitives!
Remember it took almost 50,000 years for Homo sapiens to evolve into the present state of advanced civilization. Taking the age of man into consideration, only a handful of them have lived in modern times. Suppose you got birth before say 50.000 years! What life you would have had!
You would live like your ancestor primates who hunted animals and ate the fruits and roots of trees and plants. He had not yet developed any tool. He might have had seen fire spreading in a forest or watched sparks flying off when a stone fell and grazed against another. Fire was yet to be
discovered. He did not cook his food.
May be he might have used a sharp stone to throw at an animal.
He did not have any clothing and at the same time he was losing the protective coat of long hair spread all over his skin. He took shelter in the caves. He made some sounds which his friends and mates understood. He mated whenever he wanted. Agriculture was not discovered and he lived in the jungles.
If you compare the whole history of Homo sapiens to a day you are now at midnight. Jesus Christ was born may be 2 minutes before that! It is mere luck that you are born in the modern times.
