Last Tsar killed on orders of Lenin.
Descendants of the Romanov dynasty claim that archives
records of present day Russian government show that killing
of Nicholas II, the last Tsar of Russia along with his
family members should be treated as political repression
and that Nicholas II should therefore be officially
rehabilitated. A Bolshevik firing squad on 17th July 1918in
the basement of a merchant’s house in the city of
Yekaterinberg executed the Tsar.
The self proclaimed descendant of Romanov dynasty Grand
Duchess Maria Vladimirovna said that she had documentary
evidence to prove that the execution was carried out with
full knowledge of Yakov Sverdlov, the head of the
government. The fact was recorded I a minutes of a meeting
in which Vladimir Lenin was present.
The memoirs of Trotsky are reported to have recorded that
Ilyrich Lenin thought that the emperor and his family
should not be continued to live in the circumstances
prevailing at the time of political and social upheaval in
Russia.
There is however a note of caution in the article, which
says that the whole thing may be a fabrication since a huge
wealth of the last Tsar, is awaiting bequeathal to its
rightful descendant at the moment.
