What should you do during this critical period? Understand that the authorities and parents want to impart in you a sense
of right and wrong. They may be doing some wrong things here and there and you cannot expect them to be blameless. Spend some time with them playing or simply talking. And update them on you
activities. Why not you share with them your problems and worries? Introduce your friends to them. Occasionally appreciate parents and teachers
With your peers you may have to deal in a different way. May be ‘do unto others what you expect from them or treat them like you would like to be treated. Do not imitate what your friends are doing if you are not convinced of it. But at the same time be open to all points of differences. Join with them in group activities and spend some time for helping the poor, destitute or engage in some charitable activity for some time a week.
All the more feel good about yourself. Take heed when many say you are good in a particular thing. After all you may be good in that. ‘Know oneself,’ is an old accepted adage. There is a lot of truth in it. Try to cultivate you plus side and ignore negatives. Every one has weak points and you too have. There is nothing in it to lose heart about.
