peace, spirituality, tranquility also entrepreneurs? One of the Gurus advocated commercial outlooks saying what is the harm? There is a huge market for Spirituality. And the one who are in search of truth, peace, pleasure-it is the duty of
Spiritual authorities to address to their needs. And for that any price is less, so long asit satisfies their needs. Spiritual healers, skill -ful Yogis, so called Gurus have worked hard and have attained knowledge and skills to bring solace, peace to individuals seeking same. And now, if they are selling their knowledge and skills -what is the harm?
Are sales bad? Is business questionable?
What, if they are trying to find livelihood out of this?
Product or Services, whatever, they are promoting-there are buyers. So they are entrepreneurs. Some people have rightly coined a word `Spiritual
shops`.What is the difference between Multinational opening stores where they offer Pizza or cosmetics or health nutrients. Product talks are very pleasant and touch us, making us, driving us to buy. Same is true for Spiritual leaders. They appeal and suit our need for love, affection, exercise, breathing, yoga.Some are even charismatic. It is understood that in Metros, where literacy level is
high, per capita income is also high, standard of living is par excellence- the need for affectionate behaviour, warmth, caring dominates. This is where these spiritual shops come in play.
Every day, they are trying to find new ways to fascinate followers. Some turn as disciples and some as Me Too and start following the rituals. Some tend to gain who are looking for. So it is a mechanism of need and providing for satisfaction of need. So these entrepreneurs who have found this area as potential are jumping in every day. The market size is enormous. Success rate is high as against other trades.
One of my friends is in this
trade of practicing Vedic astrology, has in-depth knowledge and is capable of recommending well being, is looking for big clients in prosperous Metros world over. The objective is very clear. But I am still not able to accept Spirituality as a trade. I solicit comments.
