Since childhood, I am reading in newspapers of India, that Israel, a country of Jews, where her natives suffered for a long time at the hands of its neighboring countries, States. A few of political parties did raise their voice for recognition of Israel, whereas others opposed because of their appeasement policies. But many examples were cited very often, as to how Israelis have outgrown in every aspect of
life, while struggling for survival continuously. Its mature leadership, having met hard challenges ever since I attained maturity has led the country, inducted democracy laying its roots, did combat terrorism very well. They played positive role in all peace initiatives known to public at large.
Though it is true, that environment produces a feeling, makes an individual, community and society. But Israel has achieved
excellence in every field, may it be technical or even spiritual. Maintaining
balance though faced with hostility persistently, prone to geographic invasions and enough provoked time and again, is commendable.
I am trying to understand the process, where environment, which is not conducive for
development, people are not only learning and developing, rather they have set an example for entire

In India Punjab is and was border State for Centuries. Most of invaders came from this route .As a result
bravery stories can be heard in every village and from every house of Punjab. The need for, fighting for survival was always very high as against other
communities who hardly suffered for life and values. This is how, community from Punjab is known for their bravery and success in all walks of life.
Wheresoever, the life has been smooth, many evils crept in; to an extent that communities became lethargic. This is just an observation.
Maintaining one’s dignity, homeland restored or intact, participating in the competing world to achieve excellence and working for Human cause and Peace is like achieving wonderful balance and not simply an outcome of aggressive neighbors.
