Power supply problem….who’s the sufferer??????
A simple question which comes in my mind after seeing the power cut
situations in several areas is “Power Supply cutoff—who’s the sufferer”.
Each one of you reading this article may say we are getting affected by the increased power supply cut-off.
Students are not able to enjoy their holidays. They are made to sit at home in the hot summers that too without electricity. For them, electricity means ways of enjoyment (watching TV, playing games in computer) and of course, an escape from their studies too. Working people have long unsleeping, disturbed nights after their tiring jobs. For them electricity is having a peaceful, undisturbed night. For housewives, electricity means a way to please their children and hubby with tempting food, micro waved and served hot. For a young girl coming from her coaching in the evening, electricity is means to reaching home safely. To a farmer, power supply cutoff means less, lower category yield, and hence, lower income.
This is intending a selfish approach to the power supply cutoff.
We should think us as a part of the nation. If our students are not able to study due to the power cutoff, then what will be the future of this nation?
If their parents are not able to sleep well then how will they help their children in becoming a better human being? How will working professionals able to give their best to their jobs if they feel restless throughout the day with uneasy nights spent without electricity? If the farmers are not able to provide good variety of yield, then what will happen to the country’s economy?
Why is this power supply problem? Till when this problem will continue? Why is no power supply cutoff in lavishly designed buildings for VIPs? Why is no power supply given to farmers to increase their productivity?
All these questions remain unanswered.
Do you have an answer for this?
