A long long time ago I was working in Europe and a colleague suggested I introduce to my class and colleagues the
magazine
she had just bought and brought over from the UK ... the HELLO Magazine!
It was surprising how the students lapped it up ... all about famous people in the news, society weddings, football wives and their families .... famous actresses ... and of course the personalities of our day.
This issue is dated: May, 2006 and features the marriage of The Duchess of Cornwall's daughter Laura to Harry Lopes her long-term beau! The photography is beautifully presented and the
wedding dress is quite eye-catching ... The Bride is said to look the very image of her mother ... Camilla (Parker Bowles) Camilla's first husband is known as Andrew Parker Bowles and he is
present looking charming and quite handsome ... he like his first wife has got a second partner! Well, the plot thickens and the story continues .... His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales was present at that great affair -- and he is filmed with his present wife The Duchess of Cornwall - he looks very smart altogether in his wedding attire! Its a great day for the Royals, and the cameras are out and so was the photographer and writers from HELLO Magazine!
The Prince's family are there too, Prince Harry and Prince William who are his sons and also kin of the Late Princess of Wales/Princess Diana! And their friends are there at this wedding of the year! The 29 year old groom is a professional accountant ... just as well ... as I'm sure this event cost him a pretty penny!
Another feature which caught my attention is /Diary of the Week/ an annotated version of what's on wherever you are ... special features are ...Chinese Film Festival at London's New Bond Street . its a celebration of 100 years of Chinese cinema! I used to be a frequent visitor to New Bond Street, to shop and have my beauty treatment .. those were the days my friend ... keep reading . great stuff!
